2021 Flinders Island Wombat calendar
2 Nov 2020:
The calendar is at the printer and should be on the island soon!
Perfect for Christmas gifts, this year’s calendar is A4 spiral bound (opens to A3), with a hanging hole, and plenty of space on each date to write appointments.
We’ve gone with a Tasmanian printer this year instead of a huge multinational, as we feel that it’s important to support small local businesses! Huge thanks to Paul at Noble Ink for all his help and enthusiasm.
Handmade on Flinders Island
The Purple Swamphen has been a hub for Flinders Island handmade since 2014. Most items are made on the island by one of 50+ local makers, but some treasures are sourced from Tasmania & beyond.
Mel enjoys connecting customers with gorgeous handmade & eco-friendly items, and is happy to suggest gift ideas and offer advice on any product.
In store all your senses are involved: beautiful items, invigorating scents, luxurious textures, relaxing tea flavours, and retro vinyl tunes.
2020 has been huge for the Swamphen; please read our short news posts about the online shop and our new Whitemark location:
